Order Scheduler/Planner
General Description/Position Summary:
Looking for a candidate with strong supply planning / scheduling experience in the Semiconductor or similar high-tech industry. The role works as part of the Business Operations Group along with cross-functional teams, to support the corporate revenue goals by ensuring orders are delivered on time and meet all customer requirements.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Order Scheduler/Planner plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors the flow of orders (products) through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of customer orders, from quote to shipping, to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily customer order scheduling and allocating parts to Sales Orders based on customer’s PO and business requirements.
- Performing timely and accurate processing of schedule updates and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of any changes to order schedules.
- Monitoring and resolving issues with the Warehouse Team and serving as a liaison for Operations.
- Proactively taking steps to minimize OCD (original commit date) delivery slips.
- Maintaining and updating backlog schedules.
- Working with suppliers to ensure inbound products are delivered to lead-time.
- Attention to detail and integrity are essential in the overall success of this position.
- Other duties as required by management.
Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- BS degree in Supply Chain Management (or related field)
- 5 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of scheduling activities in production environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to details
- Excellent analytical, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work collaboratively in a close team environment
- Must be professional, detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Good work ethics - self-disciplined with the ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Tools, Equipment and Software Proficiency:
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) - PC proficient with thorough understanding of MS Office applications; Advanced Excel skills desired
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
- ERP Software - end-to-end solution for connecting and managing all processes
- Comfortable with modern computer technologies (cloud storage, file upload/download)
- ECM Software - Shared Company Drive
