Inside Sales Specialist (US, APAC, or EMEA)
General Description/Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Inside Sales Specialist supports our Sales Team, while working in collaboration with our Planning and Sales Operations Specialist teams to resolve sales administration, order management, and supply chain issues for customers worldwide.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential in your role as an Inside Sales Specialist. You need to know how to adapt to various situations or problems as they arise. The ability to be open, and come up with innovative ideas and solutions to problems, and implement them as they arise is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Sales team in the quoting process.
- New customer on-boarding, set-up, and creation.
- Review of customer orders, ensuring they are in alignment with the quote, requirements, T&Cs, and quality clauses, etc. can be met and are flowed down for order processing.
- Provide customers with order confirmations and proforma invoices as required.
- Navigate e-mails to facilitate timely and focused communication on order status with Sales and customers.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments to ensure that all needs are clearly understood and addressed.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with existing and future accounts by providing impeccable customer service and product knowledge.
- Provide post-sales support for the Sales team and customers on order issues/expedites.
- Work the backlog with Planning to minimize/avoid supply chain shortages.
- Assist in optimizing revenue at quarter end by working risk backlog, clearing holds, logistics issues, etc.
Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- College Degree required, Batchelor’s degree majoring in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of Customer Service, Inside Sales or Account Management experience required.
- Experience in electronics distribution a plus.

- Resourceful and persistent in solving problems in the best interest of Flip Electronics and our customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to solve complex administrative and non-technical problems, requiring breadth of Customer Service knowledge.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality work in a high-pressure, customer sales driven, fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a high level of integrity and work ethic.

Tools, Equipment and Software Proficiency:
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) - PC proficient with thorough understanding of MS Office applications; Advanced Excel skills desired

- ECM Software - Shared Company Drive - Comfortable with modern computer technologies (cloud storage, file upload/download)
